Ozzy Osbourne’s final performance is headed to the big screen.

Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning will arrive in cinemas worldwide beginning October 28, bringing the historic farewell concert from Birmingham’s Villa Park to movie theaters around the world.

The July 5, 2025 event became Ozzy’s final live performance. Just 17 days later, the legendary Black Sabbath frontman died at age 76.

The concert brought Ozzy together with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward, reuniting Black Sabbath’s original lineup onstage for the first time in more than 20 years.

The massive event brought together generations of rock and metal artists to celebrate Black Sabbath’s legacy. Alice in Chains, Anthrax, Gojira, Guns N’ Roses, Halestorm, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Metallica, Pantera, Rival Sons, Slayer and Tool performed sets during the show.

A series of All-Star performances added even more rock heavyweights to the stage, including Sammy Hagar, Rudy Sarzo, Steven Tyler, Ronnie Wood, Billy Corgan, Travis Barker, Chad Smith, Nuno Bettencourt, David Draiman, Jake E. Lee and others.

Hosted by Jason Momoa with Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello serving as musical director, Back to the Beginning culminated with an Ozzy solo set followed by the historic reunion of Black Sabbath’s original lineup.

The upcoming film will combine performances from the event with personal reflections from musicians influenced by Ozzy and Black Sabbath, along with a behind-the-scenes look at the day.

The film has been crafted specifically for cinemas and will be presented in Dolby Atmos and 5.1 surround sound.

Tickets go on sale September 24 at 10 a.m. ET, with the limited worldwide theatrical release beginning October 28.

Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning is produced by Mercury Studios, with Trafalgar Releasing handling the worldwide cinema release.
